I wasn’t always drawn to the photographs themselves, but to the way they existed within our home. Some belonged to weddings or birthdays. Others were gathered only because they were taken in the same year. Then there were the photographs that never found their place at all, loose images left inside envelopes, preserving ordinary afternoons, passing gestures, unfinished moments, things too quiet to belong anywhere except memory.
